The Value In Things
I love my Blue Yeti Mini. I don't tend to buy stuff, I don't even buy clothes, except when I don't have enough trousers to end the workweek (true story).
I guess it's my education, I don't really need things to be happy. I don't need the dealership car, the house, the fancy lifestyle. I really don't. But there are a select group of things that I know I will love with all my heart when I have them.
I love and cherish my computer, it allows me to write things down and organize, publish my thoughts, connect with other people. It's my work lifeguard.
Any vehicle I think it's very personal. It goes with you and takes you places you couldn't have gone by yourself. I have none, I have never had a bike, only a skateboard that never got used.
Things are special to us because of what they mean to us. My Blue Yeti mic to me means that I can have nice things and feel like they belong in my space. That's nice.
