Don't Stagnate. Move!
One of my favorite ideas from Socrates comes from this quote:
"...idleness does not put knowledge worthy of mention into the soul; one must also have care or diligence..."
I think I embody this trait quite well, diligence and movement is something very dear to me. Movement is a great solution to almost every problem, and today I will show you how to implement this into your life.
Your organism and movement.
I hear a lot that exercise energizes you. That is not quite true. Exercise kickstarts your energy. If you start moving, all of your energy moves: your thoughts, emotions, even situations. If you don't exercise, all of this stagnates in you.
Let's make an exercise: stay still. Completely. You will never be able to stay fully still. I learned this from Antifragility, alive organic systems have movement in their essence. When you are able to stay fully still is when you'll be dead.
Leverage movement
I have found myself very depressed, in situations where all I do is play videogames, eat and nothing else. I have a rule now:
> **If you don't like where you are, MOVE!**
Literally, just do anything DIFFERENTLY. Try. Move, dammit.
I got excited, sorry. Moving with a purpose has double the efficiency.
So, just move. Don't let the bad things stay too long. Exercise relieves emotions. Movement relieves problems.
